Probably the most photographed DC-6 in history and this is the 33rd upload on this site alone. Originally built for Maritime Central Airways as CF-MCK (re-used on a Dart Herald). Here it has recently been imported and the MCA livery over-painted and modified with eagles etc added. Supposedly this was carried out at Blackbush in the open air. After a long and well documented history, it was preserved at the South Wales Aviation Museum, St Athan (EGSY) in 2021. This photo was added on 31 October 2021, and has since been viewed 337 times. |
