Used as a sprayer by Collier County Mosquito Control Dept. It was cancelled from the USCAR in 1990 and was for some years displayed in military markings at the Vermont ANG base at South Burlington, VT., but just looking on Google Earth it disappeared from view sometime between July 2014 and May 2015.

Ex C-FQPD, CF-QPD, RCAF 5193 and (?) 1564 (CT-128, rebuilt by Beechcraft with a new c/n and delivered in 1952, the original Beechcraft c/n being A-764). No information seems to be available regarding the history of the original airframe, said to have been built during WW2. It was originally registered in the UK as a Beechcraft 3NM, and later as a 3TM. Registration cancelled on 21 September 2021 as destroyed, after being damaged beyond repair in a forced landing on 14 September 2021 following engine failure while on approach to Bastia-Poretta Airport, Corsica.

The aircraft was re-registered N171LG in 1984, confusingly the second time those marks had been used for an aircraft of this type, but was lost on 2 August 1995 when it ditched in the Atlantic whilst en-route from Orlando, FL., to Freeport in The Bahamas. The pilot radioed that he had a fire on board but debris later recovered showed no evidence of fire and the main wreckage has never been located.

Acquired by the Canadian Ministry of Transport in the early/mid-1950s and repainted to an earlier livery from a basically silver/white top scheme after preservation in 1977.

Almost 400 Expeditors were operated by Canada in the utility/transport, training and comms roles, this example from 1952 to 1968. Previous to its arrival at the Trenton museum, it was preserved at Portage la Prairie, Manitoba.

This twin-Beech has no military background and wasn't built till 1946 (as NC80213) but has been restored to resemble an RCAF photographic section aircraft stationed at Winnipeg in 1944. The RCAF took delivery of the first of 388 C-45 Expeditors in August 1939. Three types were used - the 3NM for navigation, bombing & weapons training and photo survey, the 3TM for VIP transport and the 3T for cargo. Later registrations were CF-HHI (International Nickel, used for mine transport) and TG-JIQ, with the current registration allocated in 1977. It remains flyable and available for pax rides.

Canadian registered from November 2019 and previously N766L

Ex N6685, RCAF (3TM) 1567. Registration cancelled on 21 July 1972 and restored as N6685. It became N1171X on 14 September 1973, and was damaged beyond repair when it force landed in Shelbyville, Indiana on 19 November 1976.

Built as 43-35478 and transferred to the Royal Air Force as HB109 in 1943. Taken over by the Royal Canadian Air Force in May 1944 with the same serial, it was rebuilt as a Mk.3T after 1952. Bought by Pratt & Whitney in 1960, it was modified to test the new PT-6 turbo prop engine mounted on the nose. Registered CF-ZWY-X, last flight as an engine test bed occurred in 1980. Acquired by Ecole Nationale d'Aeronautique (ENA) at nearby St Hubert , QC in June 1981, it was used for decades as one of the school's technical aerospace training aircraft. The Expeditor is preserved in front of the school.

Remanufactured by Beech from AT-11 42-36852 c/n 3232 to C-45H 52-10643 for the USAF in 1953. To N9361Z. To N6625R then converted to Dumod Infinite Trigear N491DM in 1964. Still current on the register in 2022 with an owner in Florida. (Credit to Paul Seymour for this information).

The aircraft was in a very poor state with deflated and rotting tyres, so obviously had not flown for some time.
