Built in 1979 for the Soviet AF, this AN-26 was sold to Trast Aero in 2009, initally becoming ER-AUR but soon afterwards 4L-UCK. In 2010, the indonesian national logistics agency BULOG (for Badan Urusan LOGistics, responsible to secure food distribution during crisis) leased this airframe to run food from Sentani to the Baliem Valley. Trast Aero was founded in 2004 and was active till 2010, when its assets were taken over by Aquiline International based in Sharja (UAE). In 2014, 4L-UCK was converted to AN-26B and registered as EY-325. It was observed falling apart at Sentani airport in 2022.

Delivered to the Romanian AF in Tarom colours in 1985 and was transferred to Romavia and operated by the government from October 1990. Through 1993 it served the United Nations (coded 'UN989'). Transferred to the Romanian AF as 808 in 1994. In early 2013, registered ER-AVK and then UR-UZK as an An-26-100 to Constanta in December 2020.With the UN again in 2023, at Mogadishu (with code 'UNO-691P'). Built in 1981, delivered to Aeroflot's West Siberia division as CCCP-26064 and transferred to Omskavia in June 1994. Registered YL-RAA in December 1997 to RAF-Avia (their second use of this reg on an An-26). Leased to leased to Atlantic Airlines for two years from January 2003. Registered UR-ESD to Air Urga in September 2019

Seen after a period flying for the United Nations (carried code 'UN989' then 'UN988', latter also carried by YR-ADJ at same time). Delivered to the Romanian AF in Tarom colours in 1984 and was transferred to Romavia and operated by the government from March 1991. Contracted by DHL through 1995. Stored at Otopeni 1996-2006, seen at IEV as UR-GGA in July 2007 and delivered from there to Khartoum for the Sudanese AF in February 2010, becoming 7716. Last noted 2014

Around the time of this photo in 1985, Tarom An-26s were fairly regular visitors to BAe at Bournemouth in connection with the Rombac 1-11 programme. This one was delivered to the Romanian AF in Tarom colours in 1983 and was transferred to LAR by 1990. Through 1993 it served the United Nations (coded 'UN988') and in 1995/6 carried Romavia and DHL titles. To Romanian AF as 307 by 1997. Stored at Otopeni 2001-2006, at IEV 2007-2009 as UR-CFZ. To Sudanese AF 7715 in 2010, South Sudan AF SP-401 in 2017. W/o in landing accident at Yambio on 16 October 2019

Built in 1982, delivered to Aeroflot's Latvian division as CCCP-26109, transferred to Latavio in October 1992 and ELK Estonian in March 1998. Registered UR-BXF by mid-1999 for Ukraine Air Alliance and operated without titles in basic ELK colours. Registered LY-APN May 2002 to Aviavilsa (my June 2002 photo here), HA-TCU in November 2003 to Cityline and LZ-FLA to Bright Line one year later. Operator's licence suspended in July 2019 and aircraft stored at Sofia

Built in 1981, delivered to Aeroflot's Latvian division as CCCP-26047 and transferred to Latavio in October 1992. To Carol Air Services in November 1995 and dropped a load of weapons over West Bengal for a fundamentalist Hindu cult in December. Impounded at Mumbai a few days later. Seen in 2015 with fuselage cut in half. The remains were acquired by a local aviation engineering training institution

To HA-TCX in 2006 with Budapest Aircraft Service, EK-26510 with Air Highnesses in June 2010 and HK-4730 with Aer Caribe in November 2010. Seen mid-2017 as HP-1935JYR with TAECA Cargo but back to the Colombian registration with Aer Caribe in May 2018. By mid-2024 was in full Amazon Air colours

Built in 1982, delivered to Aeroflot's Ukraine division and to Dnieproavia as UR-26129 by 1995. Seen in Jan 1999 and April 2000 all-white with Atlantic Air Cargo titles and named "Anne". By May 2000 with Kroonk Airlines as shown here and by June 2004 with Cityline Europe as HA-TCP. Returned to Kroonk with registration UR-KVI being applied at BUD in Dec 2007. By 2009 had become 4L-IFE with Georgian Star International, then BULOG and Trast Aero. Badly damaged by a runway excursion at Wamena, Indonesia on 28th Jan 2010, op for Manunggal Air, lsf Aquiline Int. Last noted Fujairah Nov 2011

Built in 1976 and operated by MAP 'Artyom' Kiev as CCCP-26215. Transferred to Artem Avia as UR-26215 by mid-1993. First noted with Uhuru Airlines in July 2003 at Bunia, DRC (Uhuru is Swahili for 'Freedom'). Stored at IEV and acquired by the State Aviation Museum in early 2012 and moved to their compound at the airport but was was due to be auctioned by Artem in March 2020 (initial asking price approx $18,500)

Seen being prepared for delivery from the ARZ 410 rework factory to Nicaragua. Aerosegovia was formed with assistance from Cuba's Aero Caribbean and commenced services in October 2002 but suspended in March 2003 due to lack of spare parts and regulatory issues. Impounded after non-payment of fees. Next registered HK-4356 in September 2004 to SELVA, then Sadelca, Laser Carga and most recently Amazon Air. A 1977-build aircraft originally delivered to Aeroflot as CCCP-26622 and transferred to Arkhangelsk Airlines in February 1995

Built in 1982, delivered to Aeroflot's Ukraine division and transferred to MAP Zaporozhye PO in Sep 1988 as CCCP-26113. Seen at Bykovo in Sep 1993 in untitled Aeroflot colours being converted by ARZ 410 to An-26B-100. Noted at Donetsk in June 1999 with Kievskaya Rus, XXI vek titling, as in this photo. It's the name of a Ukranian company, founded in Kyiv in 1996. The aircraft was last noted in the Bykovo rework area in October 2005. Next to Euroline then by 2009 Yamal as RA-26113 and IrAero in May 2023

Built in 1979, delivered to Aeroflot's Ukraine division and to Crimea Airlines by 1994. Seen in 1998 at SHJ untitled with Kiev Air and in late 1999 with AAR Airlines. To Ukraine Air Alliance by 2004. Badly damaged on landing at Tshikapa, DRC on 13 April 2006 after bird ingestion, the nose gear impacting the runway very hard. Regarded as un-airworthy by Antonov (banned from flying in Kenya) but temporarily repaired and ferried to Mykolaiv. Leased to Air Eagle of Pakistan by early 2009, stored at Kerch (Crimea) 2014/16, moved to a safari park at Byelogorsk in 2018. Now very derelict

Built in 1980, delivered to Aeroflot's West Siberia division and transferred to Kemerovo Aviation Enterprise as RA-26581 in April 1994. Seen in primer at IEV as '26581' on overhaul in May 1999 for ARP 410. Based at Opa Locka in 2000 and seen there in 2001 with additional Lineas Aereas Nacionales de Honduras titles. Back at IEV in 2007 stored and offered for sale by the ARZ 410 rework plant, but scrapped in 2012

Built in 1981, delivered to Aeroflot's Moldova division and transferred to Air Moldova as ER-26059 in March 1994. To ARP 410 as UR-26059 by 2000 and left fleet by 2003. Reverted to ER-26059 in September 2003. Seen en route to Clark in the Philippines in July 2006 as RP-C7207 for Mosphil Aero Inc. Reportedly broken up at Manila in 2008

Built in 1978, delivered to Aeroflot's Kazakh division and modified as a laboratory aircraft by 1990 with ASLK-75 equipment for navaids testing (ASLK = Avtomatizirovannaya Sistema Lyotnogo Kontrolya). By time of this photo, in these red and blue colours with Spetsavia titles (new name for Bykovo flight check unit). Registration changed to RA-26507 by 1996 and transferred to KAPO im. Gorbunova in July 2012 and Sev-Avia in September 2015, still as a lab aircraft
