Delivered to the Romanian AF in Tarom colours in 1985 and was transferred to Romavia and operated by the government from October 1990. Through 1993 it served the United Nations (coded 'UN989'). Transferred to the Romanian AF as 808 in 1994. In early 2013, registered ER-AVK and then UR-UZK as an An-26-100 to Constanta in December 2020.With the UN again in 2023, at Mogadishu (with code 'UNO-691P').
