Withdrawn from use on 24 November 1981, displayed at SWWAPS Lasham from 4 February 1983, moved to NEAM Usworth on 24 May 2010, and finally to South Wales Aviation Museum in May 2019 for restoration for static display.

exhibit in the former Belfast prison »Crumlin Road Gaol« from the Victorian era, which was closed in 1996 and is now one of great visitor attractions of the capital of Northern Ireland; being operated by the 72 Squadron at RAF Aldergrove until 2002 for more than 40 years, it was used as a Gate Guardian at RAF Aldergrove from May 2003 and finally transferred to Belfast in 2019; the Wessex played a key role during the infamous troubles in the country

Built in 1958 for the German military and served with Campbell until export as N827MW in 2002. On 10 November 2019 it was wrecked in a landing accident a Lebanon/IA.

Delivered to the RAF on 2 January 1968, and stored at Fleetlands since early 1997. It was moved to Gosport late 1997, left by road to Benson in April 2002, reported again at Gosport in May 2003 (up to January 2012 and then seen as a road runner to Hixon early 2012. Stored there and moved to Air & Ground location at Shirleywich. Again seen stored, but then at Culham Adventure Land in April 2013. It was said to be sold a new owner in France but was still in that Advanture Land early 2020. What an effort for this beautiful Wessex... it deserves some rest ;-)

Highlight of the Koksijde show was this marvelous looking Wessex HU5, which arrived from RNAS Culdrose. The HU5 is a UK-built turbine-powered development of the Sikorsky H-34 Choctaw. The HU5 (101 built) was initially produced for the Royal Navy and later for the Royal Air Force. Within the RN it was operated as an anti-submarine warfare and utility helicopter, but was also used for SAR missions. The type entered service in '61, and had a service life of 'some 40 years before being retired in the UK. This XS484 also served during the Falkland War. It was scrapped at Hanningfield Metals in '97.

Delivered to the Royal Navy as XT486 in 1966. To the RAF as ground trainer 8919M at Brize Norton in 1987. Preserved at the Dumfries and Galloway Aviation Museum from 2007.

One of no less than 16 Wessex present from 845 Naval Air Squadron based on HMS Hermes in a typically strong show of support for the Air Fair by the Fleet Air Arm. To GI as A2744 October 1986, re-allocated as A2668 (2) May 1993. Components still present at HMS Sultan, Gosport in April 2004.

One of two S-58Ts from NY Helicopter offering pleasure flights around Manhattan from their base at East 34th Street Heliport. N59330 was fleet number "6", obscured by the tail rotor.

After being retired this Choctaw was transferred to AMARC with the inventory number XJ094 but was photographed at this amazing collection in the Saint Louis suburbs.
