This Canuck was delivered to the museum on 20 January 1982.

Built as a Mk 5, this CF-100 was converted to a Mk 5C ECM trainer in 1964. Later converted to Mk 5D with full ECM equipment, it served with 414 (EW) Squadron until retirement. Painted to honor the Mk 4s with 1 Air Division in Europe during the late '50s, the aircraft is pictured at Abbotsford during the type's retirement tour. It was later placed on display at Air Force Heritage Park of 17 Wing at Winnipeg, MB.

Delivered to the RCAF in May 1953. To No.3 Operational Training Unit at North Bay, Ontario and later at Cold Lake, Alberta. To 428 Squadron at Uplands, Ontario in 1956 and to 432 Squadron at Bagotville, PQ in 1958. To No.3 O.T.U. in 1962. To the 'Electronic Warfare Unit' at St. Hubert, PQ in 1964. Made its last flight in September 1968 when it flew to CFB Suffield, Alberta for ground testing use by the Defence Research Establishment. Restored by CFB Suffield as their 'Gate Guardian'. Acquired by the Nanton Lancaster Society in August 1994 and displayed with No.3 O.T.U. markings. It is a Mk.3B that was converted to Mk.3D.

Mk.3A converted to Mk.3D

Built for the Belgian Air Force, this Canuck suffered damage in a partial gear up landing during production flight testing. It was repaired and delivered to the RCAF instead, circa 1958. Stored by 1980, the big all weather fighter is displayed at the Royal Military College in Kingston, ON.

The CF-100 Canuck was an all-weather interceptor used by the RCAF during the cold war and later in the electronic warfare role. They were all withdrawn from service in 1980. This one started out as a Mk 4B but was eventually upgraded to Mk 5D. Now it is on display at the Alberta Aviation Museum in Edmonton at the now closed Edmonton Municipal Airport.

The Clunk, as it was known was an all-weather interceptor of the Cold War era.

This CF-100 really is 100472 and it is a MK.5 converted from Mk.4B. On the other side it carries the fake markings "18741/DL-742"

This 414 Electronic Warfare Squadron Canuck is on display at the Base Borden Military Museum at CFB Borden. (Presumably?) prior to the RCAF reorganisation this plane carried '18493' as its serial.

Rare survivor of the 2T trainer version of the Canuck. B-615 on the aft fuselage is an instructional airframe serial.

Preserved after service in Europe with the RCAF

B-615 on the aft fuselage (not visible on the photo) is an instructional airframe serial. These Mk.2 aircraft served in the RCAF from May 1952 until July 1958 and this trainer is now on display at the Memorial Military Museum in Campbellford.
