This JP first served RAFC, 3 FTS, CATCS and 6 FTS in standard training colours but by this time was unusual sight in camouflage, gained when it joined I TWU at RAF Brawdy. W/o on 22nd April 1982 when it crashed at Llandilo in Wales. Pilots, one of whom was from the Indian AF, ejected safely after throttle linkage which had been incorrectly routed during maintenance failed

XV468 ended its operational life with 56(F) Squadron at Wattisham and made its last flight on 28 August 1992 to Woodvale where it was allocated maintenance serial 9159M for use as a gate guard.
