The Pacific Western tug and cart in the background would be Canadian Airlines by late 1986 and Edmonton City Centre Airport itself would close in 2013. Edmonton is developing the land into a new community known as Blatchford (the airport was first named for Winnipeg's mayor Kenneth Alexander Blatchford who helped develop it in 1927).

In 1985, Time Air bought two SD3-60s (and later leased another) for flights on British Columbia's coast. Delivered on September 20, 1985, this aircraft has the short-lived Time Air Connector titles in conjunction with Pacific Western Airlines and Air Canada . At this time, CP Air had Air BC as a connector partner. In the mid 80s, Piedmont Airlines bought twenty former Garuda Indonesia F-28s from Fokker. Time Air / Canadian Regional acquired these same aircraft in the 90s after Piedmont merged with US Air. Former PK- GVE, N297B and N470US arrived at Time air in January 1991 registered C-FTAS. Canadian Regional merged with Air Canada Regional in November 2011 and the F-28 was retired in April 2002 . Stored at Saskatoon, SK, it was broken up there in 2018.
