Former US Army Air Force 41-18541, this C-47 was acquired by Canadian Pacific Airlines in June 1946 as CF-CPW. Sold in August 1957, it was registered CF-TAS to to Transair. Pictured still in the basic Transair colors of the day. The aircraft was registered to Classic air as HB-ISB circa 1985 and was last seen stored at Memmingen, Germany.

In the mid 80s, Piedmont Airlines bought twenty former Garuda Indonesia F-28s from Fokker. Time Air / Canadian Regional acquired these same aircraft in the 90s after Piedmont merged with US Air. Former PK- GVE, N297B and N470US arrived at Time air in January 1991 registered C-FTAS. Canadian Regional merged with Air Canada Regional in November 2011 and the F-28 was retired in April 2002 . Stored at Saskatoon, SK, it was broken up there in 2018.

WWII Veteran to the Air Force as 41-18542 August 29, 1942, then sold at the end of 1945 as CF-CPW to Canadian Pacific Airlines. It was then on to Trans Air in 1957 and re-registered CF-TAS. Trans Air sold the C-47 in 1961 and it flew out of Quebec with several operators until 1985 when it was sold to Classic Air in Switzerland (HB-ISB).
