Sold in February 1978 to a broker in the USA, the aircraft entered West Coast Airline's fleet in May. Merged into Air West to form Air BC in 1980, the aircraft was sold to Ashe Aircraft Enterprises in 1992. Many leases followed before it was registered in the USA as N186AL in 1995. The aircraft is the center of a legal dispute and has been stored since 2009.

Pictured after roll out in the new Air BC colors, this aircraft has been put back on floats soon after the paint has dried. The aircraft was sold to Kenn Borek Air in 1988 and has had many leases to Harbour Air and Maldivian Air Taxi over the years. Kenn Borek changed the registration to C-GTKB in 1996.
