Built in 1933. Painted in USAAF colours but did not have any military history. Still current on the register in 2021.

Despite the markings was not an ex-RNZAF aircraft. Now registered N27775 and in US Navy marks.

The J11 version of the Fiat CR-42 biplane fighter served the Swedish Air Force from 1940 until 1945. This example is preserved in the Flygvapen Museum at Malmen.

This aircraft is distinctive because the DL-1 series Vega had an aluminum fuselage, while the original Vega was plywood-skinned. Although c/n 161 was never in service with the U.S. Military in World War II, this restored Vega bears the distinctive markings of the Army Air Corps Y1C-12 from the 1930s. This aircraft is also distinctive as it was built after the October 1931 demise of Detroit and its subsidiary Lockheed by Richard von Hake and other laid-off employees, completed in March 1933.
