This Avro Avian was manufactured in 1930 amd delivered from the U.K. to the RCAF in April 1930. The Department of National Defence transferred it to the Moose Jaw Flying Club in 1932. Ownership went to the Winnipeg Flying Club in 1935 and, in 1937, to a private individual. The aircraft was in storage during the Second World War, after which it was sold to Charles Graffo, who then bequeathed it to the Museum in 1968.

Manufactured in 1931. The C-2 was designed to be a cheap and simple flying machine for the amateur pilot. Built at the beginning of the Great Depression, it appealed to those who could not afford larger more expensive airplanes because of its relatively low price.

Built in Canada by Canadian Car & Foundry Limited in 1942, this Hurricane is one of five known to have remained in Canada, and one of six Canadian-built examples known to exist. From 1942 until 1943, it served as a training aircraft in Winnipeg. Between 1943 and 1946, it was reassigned to various squadrons and stored at different locations across Canada. It was transferred to the RCAF's historic aircraft collection at Rockcliffe airport in February 1964.

Built in 1918 by Fokker. It was most likely confiscated by Allied forces at the manufacturing plant and next shipped to the United States for the U.S. Air Service. Later sold for civilian use, it was featured in several movies, including Hell's Angels (1930). The Museum purchased the aircraft in 1971, and a propeller and engine were donated in 1972 and 1975, respectively.

The aircraft was used for aerial surveys until the early 1940s. In 1962, the company's founder and president, Virgil Kauffman, donated the aircraft to the Museum. The exact identity of this Swordfish is unknown, but it was probably manufactured by Blackburn Aircraft Company Limited in Great Britain for the Royal Navy, and shipped to Canada. It was purchased in the early postwar years by farmer Ernest V. Simmons from Tillsonburg, Ontario, who bought a considerable amount of surplus war material, including around eight Fairey Swordfish. One of them was purchased by the Museum in 1965 and assigned a fictitious serial number corresponding to that of a Swordfish flown in Canada during the Second World War.

Built in 1957 for the U.S. Air Force, where it served for two years (from November 1957 to November 1959). It was then shipped to Canadair for use as a pattern aircraft for production of the CF-104, which was to be built under licence. Transferred RCAF in June 1963. In December 1967, Wing Commander Robert A. White set the Canadian altitude record of 30,513 metres (100,110 feet) flying this Starfighter.
