Delivered in 1956, the Canadair Sabre remained the SAAF's frontline fighter until replaced by the Mirage III in 1963 before withdrawn from service in 1980. 372 went to the SAAF Museum branch at AFB Ysterplaat where it is currently displayed in fake markings as 601, an F-86F serving with 2 Sqd in Korea on loan from the USAF as here. Seen with an updated titling style, this One-Eleven was withdrawn a month after this capture. Broken up in 2003 at Bournemouth (although the cockpit is preserved in the Shanon Aviation Museum)

First delivered to British World Airlines as G-OILA in March 1996, after BA joined Aero Caribbean in May 2004 as CU-T1544 and latterly stored

"AXIS" EC-130E appeared several times during the month of September 2000 to conduct practice approaches and pattern work. Aircraft was sent to AMARC on October 2 2002 and eventuall scrapped.

Delivered to the USAAF 28 March 1945 as 44-76629, to the RAF as KN483 3 April 1945, and 28 Sqd SAAF as 6881 6 October 1945. To Africair/Wenela Air Service 7 November 1953 first as ZS-DIV, then VP-YSN and A2-ZEN. Returned to the SAAF ca 1980 as the second 6855. Hit by surface to air missile in then South West Africa 1 May 1986, damaged and repaired. Partially converted to C-47TP December 1997, to Dodson Aviation as N914Q 14 July 1998, to Dodson International as ZS-OJJ 15 November 1999, later Rossair, Naturelink, Limpopo Air Service, UN Humanitarian Air Service. Originally delivered to Caledonian in 1995 (my photo) and most recently operated by Iran baseman as EP-APF

First flown in February 1993 but not delivered to Caledonian until April 1995. Became OO-TCC with Thomas Cook in March 2002 and after reverting to G-BVYC, reregistered VT-EYK for Air India in March 2005. Transferred to Air India in August 2007, stored at Goodyear from July 2010 and broken up following year.
