Reregistered VH-TSP in May 1967

VH-INL at Adelaide prior to being fitted with weather radar. It was sold in the US as N32AC but was destined for use in Indo-China.

This V-8AP, an early Mi-8 prototype, was presumably taken in June 1965 when it was on its way to the air show at Le Bourget, just like many other aircraft did back in the day. Its c/n is thought to be 0203. The registration CCCP-06181 was later falsely painted on c/n 3135 (preserved at the Technik Museum Speyer) and on c/n 0604 (preserved at Monino). It was also re-used by a Mi-26.

CF-BCE at the time was owned by the British Columbia Government and used in the photo survey role. After its work was done it was sold to Northern Thunderbird Airlines of Prince George BC. I had several flights in this aircraft during the 80's and was surprised to find it at Hemet California in 2010, registered as N62936. Traces of its former Canadian reg can be seen under the wing. This aircraft was once with the RCAF as 1463. It is currently being restored to flying status at Hemet.

Delivered new to United Airlines as N6312C in August 1954. Sold to Douglas in February 1960 and stored. Briefly operated by TASSA from July 1965 until retired at the end of that summer season, then stored at Palma and later broken up.
