The Draken was converted and upgraded with Chaff and Flare and Radar Warning Receivers by SAAB and FFV Aerotech to J35Ö for the Österreichische Luftstreitkräfte. It received a new construction number 351406 and serial 06 and was officially designated J35Ö Mk.II. Delivered to Austria 1.Staffel/FIR 2 in Oct'94 and retired on 24 June 2005. Preserved Fachhochschule Joanneum in Graz since July 2009.

The Draken was converted and upgraded with Chaff and Flare and Radar Warning Receivers by SAAB and FFV Aerotech to J35Ö for the Österreichische Luftstreitkräfte. It received a new construction number 351411 and serial 11 and was officially designated J35Ö Mk.II. Delivered to Austria 1.Staffel/FIR 2 in July 1994 and retired on 18 April 2005. Preserved (pole-mounted) at Linz-Hörsching since Feb'07
