Bought by Hawkins & Powers Aviation for firefighting, it was put on the US registry as N8902 in January 1976. Retired in 1979, the aircraft was stored in the open at Greybull, WY. Transferred to the National Warplane Museum, it was made flyable again and moved to the museum at Geneseo, NY around 1991-92.
