Registerd N148AC after delivery to Air California following static display in the 1986 Farnborough show. Taken over by American Airlines in July 1987 and reregistered N699AA in March 1989. Later CP-2254 with Aerosur, SE-DRI with Malmö Aviation/Braathens, EI-CWA with AirJet/Air France, ZS-PYM with Airlink and ended up as OB-2014T, purchased for parts by Star Perú in July 2012. Stored derelict at Lima and broken up in 2020

Delivered to AirCal in December 1985, the aircraft was merged into American Airlines' fleet when the two combined in July 1987. Registered N677AA in August 1988, it was sold to Morris Air May 1992. Owner June Morris arranged the sale of Morris Air to Southwest Airlines in December 1993 with Southwest becoming the registered owner of N677AA in 1994. Retired in September 2008, the aircraft was stored at Victorville, CA and later broken up.

To Aloha as N70720 in 1977. To Aer Lingus as EI-BDY then to Nordair as C-GNDD in 1978. Back to Aer Lingus as EI-BDY in 1982. Leased to Britannia as G-BNYT in 1987 and returned as EI-BDY in 1988. To Ladeco as CC-CYT in 1995 then to Southern Winds as LV-ZZC in 2002. Withdrawn from use at Cordoba when the airline ceased operations in 2005. Preserved at hotel Nono Luigi, Oncativo, Argentina.

Delivered to Western Air Lines as N4522W in 1969. To Air France in 1973 then to Air California/Air Cal as N470AC in 1980. They merged into American Airlines in 1987. To Braniff Airways in 1989 then to Viscount Air Service in 1992 and reregistered as N302VA in 1994. Withdrawn from use at Roswell, NM in 1997 and scrapped.

To Bouraq Indonesia Airlines as PK-IMD in 2002 then to Star Air Indonesia as PK-ALI in 2004 and Dubrovnik Airline as 9A-CDC in 2005. Withdrawn from use at Tainan, Taiwan in 2011 and scrapped.

Preserved at Surin, Thailand.

Delivered to AirCal as N475AC in 1981. To Frontier Airlines then to Continental Airlines in 1986. Reregistered as N37882 in 1991. To West Caribbean Airways as HK-4302 in 2003. Withdrawn from use at Medellin when they ceased operations in 2005. Later scrapped.

Shortly to depart on delivery to Air Cal/ILFC

When AirCal leased this 737 in March 1986 it was already 18 years old, having flown with NAC National Airways Corporation / Air New Zealand as ZK-NAE from September 1968. American Airlines kept the 737 in their fleet when it merged AirCal in July 1987 before returning it to the lessor in 1991. Stored at Phoenix, Avmark Aviation leased the aircraft in September 1992. Re-named Transtar Airlines in January 1993, the company closed it's doors July 31, 1993. Stored, this time in Roswell, NM, the aircraft was sold to West Jet Airlines in 1997 as a source of spare parts and was scrapped in Roswell.
