Delivered to AirCal as N475AC in 1981. To Frontier Airlines then to Continental Airlines in 1986. Reregistered as N37882 in 1991. To West Caribbean Airways as HK-4302 in 2003. Withdrawn from use at Medellin when they ceased operations in 2005. Later scrapped.

The first of seven MD-80s leased starting in May 1981. An International Lease Finance Corporation aircraft was next placed with Frontier Airlines (along with five of the other six Air Cal MD-80s) in 1986. Becoming part of Continental's fleet when Frontier was merged eight months later, re-registered N37882 in March 1991. The aircraft was returned to the lessor in June 2002 and stored at Goodyear, AZ. Leased to West Caribbean Airways as HK-4302 in 2003, it was again stored (in Medellin, Colombia) when the airline ceased operations in 2005. It was later scrapped.
