This balloon was built in 1984 by the Dutch Limburg-based factory Price Balloons, founded by T. Price and A. Kurvers. It was destined for Pelgrim, a manufacturer of heaters and kitchen appliances. In 1984 registration PH-BAM was reserved for it as "Price AX7-77S" c/n 002, but it was never officially registered as such. Then in 1986 registration G-BMZT was reserved for it, but it is not listed on the G-INFO website because it too was never taken up. Despite not being legally registered anywhere, the balloon made several flights in the mid and late 1980s. The Air-Britain book "British Civil Aircraft Registers 1919-1999" also lists it as "Price AX7-77S" c/n 002, without a registration date. Note that it's marked as "BAM" instead of "PH-BAM".

Two AK-1 aircraft were produced by the 2nd Air Maintenance Center (HIBM). The project was based on the story of 2 Turkish pilots, Capt. Fethi and Capt. Sadik, who have passed away in the plane crash during their flight from Istanbul to Cairo in a Bleriot XI in 1914. Both AK-1 undertook the same flight and reached to Cairo using the Bleriot XI's similar historic route in 2001. Fethi, is one of them and is preserved in magnificent air museum in Ankara.

The first flight for 300 meters, 6 meters above the ground took place in April of 1910 near Stuttgart. An accident on 14. April 1910 which killed a spectator ended the brothers aircraft construction.

This one-off 2-seater was designed by Antoine Léglise and built by members of the Aéroclub de Lons le Saunier and first flew on 22 May 1959. It was originally powered by a 65 hp Continental A65 engine, but in 1977 this was replaced by a 90 hp Continental C90. In the early 1980s the aircraft was rebuilt by SERAM (Société d'Entretien et de Reparation d'Aéronefs Maconnaise) at Villefranche-Tarare Airport near Frontenas.
