Delivered to the USAAF as 44-76384 then to the RAF as KN353 in 1945. Sold as G-AMYJ in 1953. Loaned to the RAF as XF747 for trooping flights in 1954. Used by a number of operators. To Nile Delta Airways as SU-AZF in 1976 and back to G-AMYJ in 1977. Dismantled after retirement by Air Atlantique. To the Yorkshire Air Museum at Elvington in 2001.

Photographed at the Yorkshire Air museum Night Shoot. The original plan was to have the Dakota outside but she isn't waterproof so due to the inclement weather she was photographed from outside with the hangar doors open. The guys in uniforms/flying jackets on the right were from the museum to give a period, 'diorama' effect. Ex G-AMYJ / KN353.
