Delivered to USAAF in 1945. Saw combat in Korean War for two years, sold surplus in 1957. Converted into a water bomber in the U.S. (N5457V) and later used in the same role in Canada (C-GHLK). From 1990-1999 it was owned and flown by the Canadian Warplane Heritage marked as a French Air Force A-26. Transferred to the U.S. and registered as N119DR. In 2011 reregistered N4313.

Conair Aviation Douglas A-26, C-GHLK was photographed departing the Abbotsford air tanker base on July 6, 1975. Conair was operating a large firefighting fleet of Grumman TBM-3 Avengers, A-26 Invaders and Douglas DC-6Bs at the time, all of which would be parked on the grass at Abbotsford during the off season. Delivered to Air Europe (EI-CJB) in October 1992. Over to Balair (HB-IHU) in October '99. In November 2000 over to Canadian Airlines International. That became Air Canada in November 2001. Transferred to Air Canada Rouge in May 2016. Stored Mojave since June 2020. In March 2022 over to CAM (Cargo Aircraft Managment) as N206CM.

Built as 44-34313 for the US Air Force, this Invader went directly into storage until re-activated for the Korean War. Sold surplus in 1957, it became the first A-26 fire bomber conversion in 1959, working in Idaho and Oregon until 1975. Sold to Conair and flying as Tanker 23 until retired in 1987. Subsequently owned by several museums in Canada and the USA, the solid nose was replaced by the clear bomber nose. Last noted with Black Crow Aviation as N4313 after a 7 year restoration.
