Retired in 1973 and displayed for a time at Wattisham's gate, this aircraft is now preserved at Woodhall Spa, repainted into her original 111 Sqn colours, complete with black/yellow tail. Although reportedly some parts of the real G-AMSU were used in the preparation of this Dak for display, it was really G-AMPP which served Dan-Air between 1961 and 1971 after an RAF career. The aircraft was removed to France in 1991, then to the Netherlands in 2002. Finally it went to Berlin in 2005, to be used for the making of a film about the Airlift, to represent crashed Dakota KN491, which went down on 24 Jan 1949 in East Germany while approaching Lübeck-Blankensee. When filming was completed, the remains of the aircraft went to Olawa, Poland.

The MIACO facility on the old Safi side of Malta's airport handled a large number of ex-military Caribous over the years, this example still carrying Tanzanian AF markings and having been delivered by DHC as JW9003 in 9.66. Although scrapped in 11.86, the remains of the airframe were used in a PT-6 turboprop mock-up and the fuselage was still extant in the early 90s

Like many of the Greek islands, Kefalonia was linked to Athens in the morning and evening, using a mixture of Dash 8 100 and Q400 equipment. SX-BIO, seen here arriving on the evening flight OA634, joined the former Olympic in 2003 after service with Southern Winds in Argentina and underwent a major overhaul at Exeter in early 2010. Services are more recently covered by Q400s and Aegean A320s

Taxiing out for the return leg to DAC after the first ever service to KTM by this private Bangladeshi airline. The MD-80 was originally a Korean Air machine and was obtained from Lion Air (ex PK-LMF) earlier that month. GMG had hoped to expand service to Singapore and the UK in 2010 but in 2012 the airline's operations were suspended
