Crashed 25-10-69 Cunderdin WA. Restored 19-06-03 as VH-UDH. WFU 22-09-17. The RQAC, Archerfield, QLD supplied a number of aircraft, and if required, instructors to Aero Clubs in Southeast QLD from the 1930's to the early 1960's. Showing damaged rudder, propeller and interplane strut following a nose-over. The legend on the fin reads "Rebuilt by the Fingertight Engineering Co" ... a little prophetic perhaps. RAF serial T5879 displayed on rear fuselage.

Caged Tiger at Malton during 1941 - this is our oldest photo so far from Toronto's future airport. Assigned to No 1 Elementary Flying Training School in February, 4398 had an accident on 23 June so the photo was probably taken before that date - by October it was with the Test and Development Establishment at Rockcliffe. Last of the famous "Super Tigers" in single-seat configuration with Standing-on-the-Wing rig. Damaged attempting a touch-and-go at Redhill on 4th June 1989. Registration still current in 2025 with insurance evidenced in October 2022. Last reported on rebuild at Audley End in 2019.
