Caged Tiger at Malton during 1941 - this is our oldest photo so far from Toronto's future airport. Assigned to No 1 Elementary Flying Training School in February, 4398 had an accident on 23 June so the photo was probably taken before that date - by October it was with the Test and Development Establishment at Rockcliffe. We have another photo of this airframe from there. Struck off charge and put into storage in January 1945.
