Visitor for the Farnborough airshow. Delivered to Aeralpi as I-ANTE in 1967. To Mackey International as N970JM in 1969 then to Publi Air as OO-JFP in 1973. Sold as 9Q-CXK in 1981. Crashed after take off from Kahemba, Zaire in 1996.

Pictured in Trans Provincial's final color scheme, this Twin Otter would go to Kenn Borek Air in 1993 when TPA was acquired by Harbour Air. The aircraft was leased to Harbour Air for the summers of 1993 and 1994. After that, periodic leases to Maldivian Air Taxi (8Q-CSL) occurred until the aircraft was re-registered C-GIKB when returned to Kenn Borek at the end of 2009.

Looking brand new in AirWest's latest colors, this Twin Otter first flew in November 1967. It had already worked in the Caribbean for nine years (registered N591MA, VP-VDC and C6-BDC) before coming to AirWest in 1976. The airline was renamed Air BC before the end of 1980; C-GGAW going to West Coast Air in 1996, the aircraft crashed at Vancouver Harbor on November 1, 2000. An engine failed on take-off causing a loss of control at low altitude. All 17 on board escaped uninjured before the aircraft sank. Recovered for investigation, the wreck was sold to Erwin Aero Industries for parts in 2007.

On the building in the background are titles of Lufthansa Cargo and Alitalia Cargo, so this picture is probably taken in Europe during its delivery flight to South Africa. Any help on the location is appreciated.

Delivered new to Kenn Borek in 1973. This aircraft led a hazardous life, being leased to the U.S. Antarctic Survey on seven occasions. However it came to a sticky end in Canada's Arctic when it broke through the ice and sank landing on Ellesmere Island/NU on 10 May 2010.

Twin Otter c/n 620 came to Widerøe as a new aircraft and flew for the airline between 1979 and 1995. At the time of upload in January 2023, it is active as 8Q-RAN with Manta Air.
