This aircraft suffered an accident at Ceduna, SA in 1960. The wreck went through several hands until acquired by the Museum of Victoria/NASMA in 1995, which eventually loaned it to Australia's Museum of Flight at Nowra, NSW in 2000. After a period of slow restoration and storage at Nowra it was transported to Albion Park for restoration by HARS in 2010.
