The REP Type D on display at the Museum without its fabric covers is the original 1910 monoplane built by Robert Esnault-Pelterie, probably the prototype. It features a shoulder-wing design, dual controls, and a steel-tube fuselage - innovative for its time. This aircraft achieved notable record on 31 December 1910: a 530km flight in 6 hours 29 minutes.

The Fabre Hydravion on display at the Museum is the original 1910 floatplane built by Henri Fabre, which achieved the first powered water take-off on 28 March 1910. It was powered by a 50 hp Gnome rotary engine and fitted with three floats. On 12 April 1911 it crashed and was damaged beyond repair. The aircraft was acquired by the Museum in early 1920 and subsequently restored to its original configuration.

The Solution F-Chrétien helicopter, displayed at the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace in Le Bourget, is the world's first manned, free-flying all-electric helicopter. Designed by French engineer Pascal Chrétien with Solution F, it achieved its pioneering flight in August 2011, hovering for over two minutes on battery power alone. Featuring a lightweight coaxial rotor system and lithium-ion polymer batteries, it demonstrated the practical feasibility of electric propulsion in rotorcraft.

The Avia 41-P was a high-performance French sailplane first flown in 1932, with design contributions from Raymond Jarlaud (wing) and Éric Nessler (fuselage). Developed in response to the German Lippisch Wien, the 41-P featured an advanced aerodynamic profile and lightweight structure. Nessler flew the first two examples to set several French gliding records between 1934 and 1938. Around seven units were built, and one survives today at the Musée de l'Air et de l'Espace in Le Bourget.

Second prototype (built in 1974) of enlarged and more powerful Mi-2 version, the Mi-2M, which was developed at Świdnik during the early 1970s. Production of the type did not go ahead mainly due to the excessive weight of the airframe and the under-developed powerplants. Four or five prototypes of this version were built, and two more have been preserved in museums in Kraków (https://www.airhistory.net/photo/589563) and Drzonów (https://www.airhistory.net/photo/700848).

Canada's oldest surviving homebuilt plane, crafted between 1912-1915 by aviation pioneer Robert McDowall in Ontario. This aircraft only made a few short jumps but was not capable of sustained flight. After a few attempts the plane was stored. In the early 1920s a new owner removed the wings and fitted skis to use it as an ice scooter near Durham, Ontario. It was resold in 1954 and again stored. In 1967, the Museum purchased and it was displayed for several years at the Canada Science and Technology Museum. Between 1984 and 1986, the Museum restored the monoplane to its original condition.
