One nice-looking Electra - almost got a very short ride on this beauty between Edmonton's Industrial and International airports, but the timing didn't quite work out. Started out as Eastern's N5524 in 2.59, to XA-FAM 12.72, N83MR in 5.79 and NWT in 6.81. Sold to ABC as G-FNWY 1.91 and wfu at EMA. Became N3209A with JBQ 12.91 and re-reg N351Q (Indian Ocean lease as VH-IOB ntu). Bought by Renown 6.96, stored at Roswell 10.00 and back to Canada for fire tanker conversion with Air Spray as C-GZVM in 8.02

It is not known how many were actually delivered, but at least 12 were recently serviceable after refurbishment, while many of the others have found their way to countries like Burkino Faso, Burundi, Chad, Uganda and Nicaragua. This is one of four just landed after a performance by the Al Fatah Air Show Team. Jamahiriya Air Transport Il-76 5A-DNK is parked behind.
