It was by then named Justice for Hungary, reflecting how badly Hungarians felt treated in the Versailles treaties. It was funded largely by Emil Salay of the Flint Sausage Works of Flint, Michigan. If you have been spotting at FRA, you may have noted the name of the village Zeppelinheim. The airport opened to aircraft and airships in July 1936 but its two huge airship hangars were already demolished in 1940. The Fw 200 Condor, D-ADHR Saarland, dates the photograph in July 1938 at the earliest. The second Ju 52 is D-ALUN Kurt Wintgens and the leftmost aircraft is a Ju 86 which can only be D-AJUU Vogelsberg. Photo from: Fortepan

The third Fleetster is listed as sold to WWI aviator Frederick Trubee Davison, who was then the Assistant Secretary of War for Air. It was militarized as the Y1C-11, 31-380. It was later rebuilt to Model 17-2 standard with a six-seat cabin as the C-11A. It was photographed at Dearborn by the party of the Lockheed 8A Sirius NR115W Justice for Hungary which flew across the Atlantic in July 1931. Photo from: Jenőné Czapáry / Fortepan

Fokker's first biplane was the M.7 of 1914. The M.10 was similar but with two additional struts towards the nose. The type sold to Austria-Hungary in two variants, the single-bay biplane M.10E, Austro-Hungarian designation B.I, and the two-bay M.10Z and M.11, or B.II. Fliegerkompanie (FliK) 6 was one of the receiving units and was based here at Igalo in 1915. We believe that the stone bridge in the background still exists, next to the E65 road bridge. Photo described as 'opening of Fornebu' but neutrality markings and blacked-out windows make clear the shot was taken after the outbreak of WWII. The aircraft seems to be painted orange overall. We assume ABA service to Oslo ceased with the German invasion in Norway. Date may be 22 November 1939 when SE-AFA flew the first service between Stockholm and Perth in Scotland, as an alternative to London, with a very experienced crew - Bernt Balchen and Karl Gunnar Lindner.
