PP972 in a 'wired off compound' at Base Aeronavale 83 Gâvres, near Lorient, parked alongside a derelict Bloch 175T. It was first seen by Jean Frelaut during 1965 and in 1970 he managed to buy it at scrap value — the Bloch was scrapped on the same day — and his team of enthusiasts moved it to the aerodrome at Vannes-Meucon. To Doug Arnold, UK in 1988 for restoration at Biggin Hill. Registered G-BUAR in January 1992. Photo by Jean Frelaut

Following retirement SL574 flew as part of the Historic Aircraft Flight, forerunner to the BBMF, from its formation in 1957. Following a crash in September 1959 the aircraft was relegated to gate guard duties at RAF Bentley Priory where it remained until 1967 when it was moved to Henlow for static use in the Battle of Britain film. After filming finished the aircraft returned to Bentley Priory where it remained until 1986 when it moved to RAF Halton in preparation for sale to the San Diego Aerospace Museum. The aircraft is still displayed with them at time of upload.

First flown in February 1946, PK724 was never delivered to an operational squadron and declared a 'non-effective airframe' while in storage at Cosford in December 1954. Allocated maintenance serial 7288M in October 1955 and subsequently used for instructional and display purposes at various bases including Norton, Gaydon, Henlow (for potential use on the Battle of Britain film) and Finningley. The aircraft was placed on display with the RAF Museum at Hendon in May 1971.
