This elderly 1956 built Bell 47 is just getting airborne from Strasbourg back in 1976. It became D-HABA in 1978 and returned to France in 1983 as F-GDMG where it is still working beyond its 50th year. Scanned from a slide.
Sold at the Philips auction on 10th May 1983 for £1000 and moved to Monchengladbach, then in 1995 to the Parco Tematico dell Aviazione (Aviation Thematic Park) near Rimini, Italy. There it now carries the serial "XH707", a test aircraft used by Armstrong Siddeley.
