The last production version of the P-51 Mustang was the H model delivered for the invasion of Japan, but never saw combat. Only some 555 were produced before the end of the war and the remaining orders cancelled. Delivered as 44-64314, this Mustang was retired in 1956 to the US Force Museum in Dayton, OH. Later displayed at the VFW Post, Miamisberg, OH, the fighter would be rebuild using parts from scrap dealers and a wrecked airframe in the '60s.

Pictured in Great Lakes/Air Ontario's final color scheme before switching to Air Canada Regional colors in 2001. Originally United Airline's CV340 Mainliner Springfield (N73515), the airliner would work it's way through North Central Airlines, Allegheny Airlines, Commuter Airlines and Freedom Airlines (and become a CV580) before Air Ontario took delivery in 1982. Last with Cargo Three Panama in 1992, the aircraft became derelict at Tocumen International Airport.

WB518 was with the Royal Australian Navy from 1950 - 1965 after which it was stored at Bankstown, NSW, later placed with the Services League, Griffith, NSW where it was displayed on a pole during 1967 - 1991. A restoration was begun using parts from another aircraft, but the project was sold to the USA partially completed. First flying again in 2002, the aircraft colors represent WB377 which was loaned to 817 Squadron aboard HMAS Sydney by the Royal Navy for duty in Korea. A landing accident in 2012 put the warbird out of action until another rebuild was completed in 2019.
