This is the second of two Beech 99s Austin Airways bought in 1983 for smaller routes in Northern Ontario and Quebec. The airline later added seven others in the acquisition of Torontair assets and second hand aircraft. After Austin merged with Air Ontario, the Beech 99s were gradually withdrawn as smaller routes were dropped. C-GGPP is pictured withdrawn from service and was sold to Cape Smythe Air as N216CS in November 1991. The aircraft has been registered to Alpine Air Express since April 2004.
