Built for the French Navy under the Military Defense Assistance Program (MDAP). This a/c was damaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. In 2008 it was transferred to the San Diego Air and Space Museum, where it was restored and is now on display.

Built as Cessna Model 305B L-19A dual-control instrument trainer in 55-4681 1956. Redesignated TO-1D in 1962. To US Civil registry in 1972. Preserved at the US Army Aviation Museum, Fort Rucker, AL as 55468 by 1983. Registered as N8WP in 1993. Damaged in an accident in 1998. Still current on the register in 2022.

On the day prior to US Army student aviators receiving their wings their families are hosted by Fort Rucker. Activities include visiting the training areas and being able to climb around on the type of helicopter the student trained on.

This F-105D flew combat missions from 1967 through 1970 with the 354 TFS and the 357 TFS out of Takhli RTAFB, Thailand. It has been on display at Maxwell AFB since 1983.

Delivered to USAAF in 1945 as P-51D 44-74216. Later transferred to the USAF Museum Loan Program, who loaned the a/c to the USS Alabama Battleship Memorial Park. This took place in 1972 or earlier. It was damaged by Hurricane Katrina in 2005. It has since been restored and is on display inside the Aircraft Pavilion.

Alas, possibly the worst positioned information board in the history of aviation museums! The date this Trojan was TOC with the USN is unknown but it was SOC in December 1977. During its time in service, or at least for part of it, the plane flew with a white/high-vis orange scheme. In civilian life it was registered N75ES with an unknown owner and then, from 1988 until around 2003, placed on display at the Pate Museum of Transportation, Fort Worth, Dallas-Fort Worth in Texas. It came to the SMoF in February 2005.

A total of 283 Mites were built, in five different models, between 1948 and 1955. This example was donated tp the SMoF by Nancy Batson Crews, a former Woman's Air Service Pilot and the first woman to be inducted into the Alabama Aviation Hall of Fame

The serial of this Mongol-B is not known but the plane is thought to be ex-Soviet/Russian AF and some sources say ex-Egyptian AF. If any one has any definitive information to share, then please get in touch.

This is actually TB-25N USAAF s/n 44-30649 marked as B-25C 42-53373. 44-30649 was TOC with the USAAF as a B-25J in February 1945. Converted to a TB-25N in 1954, and SOC in April 1958. Sold surplus on 15 January 1960 and registered N9452Z. In April 1972 Frank Tallmantz traded this a/c and several others to the USAF Museum in exchange for a B-17. In 1987 it went on display at the Maxwell AFB Air Park where is still resides.
