1956: TOS USAF and assigned to the 42nd Bomb Wing, Loring AFB, ME. Ca.1963: 22nd Bomb Wing, March AFB, CA and deployed for combat in Vietnam. Returned to USA to the 99th Bomb Wing, Westover AFB, MA and again deployed to Vietnam. Returned home to the 306th Bomb Wing, McCoy AFB, FL, and deployed with them to Vietnam, participating in Linebacker I and II in 1972. Returned to USA and assigned to 7th Bomb Wing, Carswell AFB, TX. 10/11/83: Ferried to Maxwell AFB, AL and was placed on display in their air park. It had flown 14,204 hours and over 300 combat missions.

Painted as 42-53373 but is actually ex USAAF 44-30649. 2/45: TOS USAAF as B-25J, assigned to 3014th BU, Douglas Field, AZ. 11/45: 3502nd BU, Chanute Field, IL, and redesignated at TB-25J. 8/48: 3345th Technical Training Wing, Chanute AFB, IL. Circa 1954: Converted to TB-25N. 4/58: Davis-Monthan AFB, AZ, for storage. 15 Jan 1960 to 1968. Went through several owners registered N9452Z. 6/68 to 4/72: Tallmantz Aviation, Orange County, CA. (All during this time the plane was still in its original USAF markings.) 9/68 to 1969: Used in Mexico for the movie "Catch-22". 4/72: USAF Museum and placed in storage. 1987: Maxwell AFB, AL, air park.

This F-105D flew combat missions from 1967 through 1970 with the 354 TFS and the 357 TFS out of Takhli RTAFB, Thailand. It has been on display at Maxwell AFB since 1983.

This is actually TB-25N USAAF s/n 44-30649 marked as B-25C 42-53373. 44-30649 was TOC with the USAAF as a B-25J in February 1945. Converted to a TB-25N in 1954, and SOC in April 1958. Sold surplus on 15 January 1960 and registered N9452Z. In April 1972 Frank Tallmantz traded this a/c and several others to the USAF Museum in exchange for a B-17. In 1987 it went on display at the Maxwell AFB Air Park where is still resides.
