At the time of the photo Caseright Ltd., the UK Cirrus agent, was based at Turweston and it was not unusual to see line ups like this. SR-20 G-PHAT still flies as such but sister ship SR-20 G-3X M-CIRU later became G-CIRU, but is now active in The Netherlands as PH-CRU. SR-22 G3-GTS Turbo N221CH now flies in Germany as D-EGHX whilst SR-22T G3 GTS-X Turbo N192SR has been placed on the British register as G-EVIB.

Photographed taking off to display, and after performing two low fast passes it departed to Manston to get back to work.

This aircraft was delivered to BOAC on 18th October 1949 as "Aeolus" and was used on the East African royal tour in April 1954. It was sold to the Royal Rhodesian Air Force in December 1959 as serial 179, later changed to 600-M and VP-YZM. Restored as G-ALHW to Air Links Ltd. in July 1964 ownership was transferred to Transglobe Airways Ltd. in August 1965. In October 1965 it was ferried to Redhill and then to Castle Donnington in March 1966 where it was broken up to provide spares for the British Midland Airways Canadair fleet. Carries Royal Air Force Air Support Command titles on the nose. Photographed taking off from the grass at Kidlington Airport, Oxford, during the RAFA Air Display held there on 2nd September 1967; note the 47 Sqn. Crane's head crest on the fin. The aircraft was coming towards the end of its service life at the time as it was scrapped at 27MU Shawbury in September 1969.

Photographed stored after the closure of Antilles Air Boats the previous year. The aircraft was built as a US Navy JRF-5 BuNo 37793 but was sent to the Royal Navy, and later the RCAF, as FP471 and civilianised as NR46497, then NC1048V, post WWII. It was trucked away from Opa-locka in October 1983 and is thought to have been dismantled and used in the restoration of Goose N327 c/n 1051. (Thanks to Joe Baugher and Bill Bailey for information).

The aircraft was one of 21 Ultralight aircraft from the Amiens area of France that made their first night stop at Turweston on the way north for a tour of Scotland organised by the Amiens-based company Air Flash.
