Departed off Rw 05 this had visited Adelaide to pick up, reportedly, one VIP.

Being pushed back from what was then the international terminal, this had visited to pick up one VIP, the identity of whom is lost to memory. There may have been a few support staff but I recall at the time being surprised that such a large aircraft was utilised for one person.

Aerowings was an airline based in Antigua. It was founded in 2001 and was wound up in 2004. This ex Skyjet DC-10 was their only aircraft (acquired Apr 2002. Actual flight ops were very ad-hoc and limited to a period between Apr and Oct 2002. It seemed to spend most of its time parked up at various airports around Europe such as Maastricht (Netherlands), Nimes (France), Charleroi (Belgium) and Geneva (Switzerland). It went to Astra Airlines in Oct 2002 and Air Mali Dec 2002. Ferried to and stored at Miami-Opa Locka 9 Feb 2003. Noted there Apr 2006 still as V2-SKY and still in the above livery.

Delivered new as a DC-10-30F 24th Jan 1986. Converted to MD-10-30F Apr 2008 and current at time of upload

Currently flying (at the time of upload) with Federal Express as N304FE . First flight was in 1978 with Overseas National Airways

Delivered to American Airlines as N122AA in 1972. To Hawaiian in 1994 then to Federal Express in 2001 and used for parts at Mojave, CA. Scrapped in 2002. N551FE allocated but not taken up.

Delivered new 20th March 1980 and sold as N824VV 15th Nov 2005, flown to KMZJ (Marana) 21st Nov 2005
