Withdrawn from use at Cranwell in January 2011. Registered as N19CQ on 13 May 2011, stored at Kemble from 14 June 2011, then used for ground instruction by BAe Systems at Humberside Airport from 20 February 2015.

The Macaws aerobatic team aircraft carried their codes on the top surface of the flaps. After use for ground training at St Athan as 8460M it went to the fire training school at Moreton-in-Marsh where it is still in use for crash rescue training in 2017.

Built as an F.8 in 1952 and was transferred to the Royal Australian Air Force in February 1953 with the serial A77-876. In October 1960, converted to a U.21A variant, an unmanned target drone for use at the Weapons Research Establishment at Woomera, South Australia. Returned to the UK in 1969 and was redesignated as a U.16. She was later converted to a D.16, tasked with chasing drones rather than being one. Based at RAE Llanbedr but last flight 11th October 2004 to Boscombe Down and joined BDAC in 2008.

First flown in 1976 and delivered to II(AC) Sqdn at RAF Laarbruch, XZ106 flew 35 operations in the 1991 Gulf War, painted in 'Desert Pink'. After that it was transferred to 41 Sqdn and underwent modification to GR,3A standard, seeing service in the Balkans conflict in 1995. It was retired in May 2005 and joined the Manston museum in November 2008, where it was painted into arctic camo colours. First flown in 1966, XR770 appeared at that year's Farnborough SBAC display in Saudi markings with a wide array of weaponry. Entering service with 74 Sqdn after that, she finished her career with 5 Sqdn at RAF Binbrook. After a period preserved at RAF Waddington, it was moved to the Manston museum in March 2015.

Victory Aircraft manufactured 430 Lancaster Xs at their Malton, ON plant, FM136 emerging in 1945. Sent to 32 MU St Athan in May 1945, it was too late to be issued to an active squadron and returned to the Pearce, AB depot in Canada. Eventually converted to Maritime Reconnaissance configuration, it was flown by 404 'Buffalo' (Maritime Patrol) Sqdn at Greenwood, Nova Scotia and later 407 'Demon' (MP) Squadron at Comox, BC carrying squadron markings RX-136 until struck off in April 1961. FM136 spent the next 30 years displayed on a pedestal at Calgary airport before joining the museum in 1992.

Delivered to the RAF on 7 June 1951 and retired in 1968. It is currently on display at the Montrose Air Station Heritage Center.

In service with 3 CAACU shortly before being withdrawn from use. The pod from this Vampire was owned by the late "Spitfire Man" Barry Wallond, safely stored somewhere on Newquay Cornwall Airport. Since 2020 it has been preserved by Stoneykirk Aviation Museum near Stranraer.
