Victory Aircraft manufactured 430 Lancaster Xs at their Malton, ON plant, FM136 emerging in 1945. Sent to 32 MU St Athan in May 1945, it was too late to be issued to an active squadron and returned to the Pearce, AB depot in Canada. Eventually converted to Maritime Reconnaissance configuration, it was flown by 404 'Buffalo' (Maritime Patrol) Sqdn at Greenwood, Nova Scotia and later 407 'Demon' (MP) Squadron at Comox, BC carrying squadron markings RX-136 until struck off in April 1961. FM136 spent the next 30 years displayed on a pedestal at Calgary airport before joining the museum in 1992.

Delivered to the RAF on 7 June 1951 and retired in 1968. It is currently on display at the Montrose Air Station Heritage Center.

In service with 3 CAACU shortly before being withdrawn from use. The pod from this Vampire was owned by the late "Spitfire Man" Barry Wallond, safely stored somewhere on Newquay Cornwall Airport. Since 2020 it has been preserved by Stoneykirk Aviation Museum near Stranraer.

Operated by 3 CAACU. Struck Off Charge on 16th December 1971 and stored at Exeter. The pod has been preserved by The Vampire Collection, Hemel Hempstead.

Preserved at the old military airfield of Balado, near Kinross. Part of the old airfield is now in use for light aircraft and microlights.

XH170 entered service with 58 Sqdn at RAF Wyton in 1960 during the introductory phase of the PR.9 Canberras into RAF service. During her career, XH170 was loaned to the Ministry of Aircraft and eventually returned to the RAF to join 39 Sqdn at RAF Luqa, later serving Cold War northern flank tactical & strategic recce detachments to Oerland in Norway. Retired at RAF Wyton in January 1982 and put on display as a gate guardian.
