There are alternative histories for this aircraft. The logical one is from Joe Baugher. That says HB275 was written off when the undercarriage collapsed as Pandaveswar on March 19, 1945. The other version is HB275 was returned to the USAAF and the US and disposed of in the civil market in 1957. RAF Expeditors returned to USAAF were normally disposed of where they were located and not returned to the US. Neither aircraft is this. Photo from: Imperial War Museums
