The first photo to surface to show, even partially, the Department of Civil Aviation's C-47 VH-ABC. It was discovered in a New Zealand public collection. VH-ABC was registered in August 1949 and reregistered VH-CAQ in September 1950. It crashed at Camden, NSW on March 27, 1951. Photos of it as VH-CAQ before and after the accident do exist. Ex RAF Anson I operated by the Ringway based Finglands Airways on charters and UK schedules during 1949-1951.

Delivered new to Sivewright Airways in October 1947 and named "Palatinia" on its nose. This four-seater was operated by the Ringway and Barton-based firm on light air charter work until sale in October 1950. Withdrawn from service in 1973.

Delivered to the RAF in April 1944. Sold in September 1948. Overhauled by Fairey Aviation at Ringway and delivered to the Royal Swedish Air Force on 3 November 1949. One of 47 to be supplied to Sweden.
