This former Braniff aircraft came into the fleet March 21, 1972. It was unfortunately written off July 9, 1978 after landing from an unstable approach to Rochester-Monroe County Airport, NY. The aircraft crossed the threshold some 60 kts fast and touched down almost half way down the runway, coming to rest 728 feet past the end.
