Put into storage at AMARC in September 1995, then moved to the Hill Aerospace Museum. More derelict than preserved there, it ended up here by 2020. On the nose is an image of Tweety, saying "I tot I taw a putty tat", and the related name of the jet: Dick's Little Bird. The 22nd Air Refuelling Squadron badge is most likely a tribute.

One of a flight of 47th Fighter Squadron 'Dogpatchers' A-10s recovering to base. The squadron badge, a 47 spade (the 7 is rather inconspiquous) is on the tail and both the 944th Fighter Wing and 924th Fighter Group badges are above the wing leading edge. The DP tail code was new with the USAF, assigned upon reactivation of the 47th FS in June 2014.

Originally a KC-135A, this Stratotanker became an E model when retrofitted with 707 engines (JT-3Ds called TF33 by the military) but avoided the upgrade to KC-135R. Last serving with the 314th ARS, 940th ARW, it arrived here in March 2008.

Originally a KC-135A, this Stratotanker became an E model when retrofitted with 707 engines (JT-3Ds called TF33 by the military) but avoided the upgrade to KC-135R. Last serving with the 314th ARS, 940th ARW, it arrived here in March 2008.

The hog face and 'The Tigress' nose art finish the total.

SAM 26000 on display in the Presidential Gallery at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. This icon has been a part of so much history, serving eight American presidents from Kennedy to Clinton. It was this aircraft that carried President Kennedy to Dallas and brought his body back to Washington, D.C. in Nov 1963. Vice President Lyndon B. Johnson was sworn in as the new president on board. The livery of the first presidential jet designed by First Lady Jacqueline Kennedy and famous industrial designer Raymond Loewy remains unmatched.
