Displayed in the markings carried during WWII while based in England, this P-51 was re-manufactured as a Mustang T.2 by Cavalier Aircraft Corp in 1967 with s/n 68-15796 for the US Army, used as a chase plane for flight trials between 1967 and 1975 from Edwards AFB, including the AH-56 Cheyenne program. My December 2024 shows it as now presented indoors This photo is copyright © Richard Vandervord, and may not be used or published in any way without permission.
