On display at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. The Apache was the dive bomber version of the Mustang. It was used by the USAAF in North Africa, Sicily, Italy and India. This Apache is painted to represent the aircraft flown by Capt. Lawrence Dye of the 522nd FBS, 27th FG in World War II.

"Night Mare" on display at the National Museum of the U.S. Air Force. This aircraft was delivered to the Royal Australian Air Force in 1942. It is painted to represent the Beaufighter flown by Capt. Harold Augspurger of the USAAF 415th Night Fighter Squadron, which operated from North Africa, Sicily, Italy and Corsica, before moving to France and Germany by the end of the war.

Late 1970s photo of two 118th TFS Super Sabres. In the back is F-100D 56-3033. In 1979, the 118th transitioned to the A-10A. The year in which this photo was taken needs confirmation.

This KC-135E is seen refuelling F-15Cs 79-0078 and 80-0028 of the 53rd TFS / 36th TFW at Bitburg AB, Germany.

KC-135E 55-3143 is refuelling two F-15C from Bitburg, including 79-0078. This Eagle is now preserved at Robins AFB.

The 318th FIS operated the F-15A from 1983 until 1989, when the unit was disbanded. This particular aircraft crashed on 18 May 1989. From eyewitness and newspaper accounts, it seems that the a/c struck a guy-wire attached to a broadcasting antenna (WMBB-TV Panama City/FL) with the left wing, however the pilot managed to recover to Tyndall AFB with the F-15 left side trashed from the wire. On landing it departed the runway and wound up on its nose when the nose gear failed. The pilot made a hasty exit and left the #2 engine running which proceeded to suck up dirt until Flight Safety came and shut it down. Apparently the refueling probe structure was all that was holding the left wing on. Usable parts were removed and the rest was recycled.
