There are alternative histories for this aircraft. The logical one is from Joe Baugher. That says HB275 was written off when the undercarriage collapsed as Pandaveswar on March 19, 1945. The other version is HB275 was returned to the USAAF and the US and disposed of in the civil market in 1957. RAF Expeditors returned to USAAF were normally disposed of where they were located and not returned to the US. Neither aircraft is this. Photo from: Imperial War Museums

No location was given for this photo but may be RAF Catfoss where it was based with the Central Gunnery School. P7973 was donated to Australia in 1945 and has become part of the Australian War Memorial collection. Its link to Australia is that is was flown by Wing Commander Keith "Bluey" Truscott when he was with 452 (Australian) Squadron based at RAF Kirton-in-Lindsey, England. Truscott was a 16-aircraft ace who flew in both the European and Pacific theatres. Photo from: Imperial War Museums

Ex G-ACSS Grosvenor House, the winner of the speed prize in the 1934 London-Melbourne air race. On its return, the RAF used the aircraft for trials until it was damaged in a landing accident. Rebuilt as G-ACSS, it ultimately found a home with the Shuttleworth Trust. The location of the photo is not known but may be Martlesham, Heath where it was based during the RAF trials.
