One of the founding aircraft of Tony Osborne's British Historic Aircraft Museum. Arrived from Elstree on 19 March 1967. Sadly, this museum came to nought but was resurrected as the Historic Aircraft Museum (Southend) in 1972. By that time NP339/G-AOBW had been vandalised and it was scrapped in 1970. It donated its outer wings to G-ANZJ. This rear fuselage section survived for a time and is seen here displayed in the museum in September 1973.

Repainted into blue & silver colour scheme. Sold to Paul and Andrew Wood in August 1982. Sold for £24,000 at the Philip's auction on 10th May 1983 when the museum closed. Displayed at the Whitehall Theatre of War and then sold to Kermit Weeks for his Fantasy of Flight Museum.
