On display at RAF Lakenheath's 1989 Open House, in Soviet colours as "White 53". Operated by The Fighter Collection, Duxford. Originally built for the USAAF as 44-4393. Used for air racing in the USA postwar, latterly in overall red colours. Brought to the UK in 1988. Lost in a sadly fatal crash in 1990 after leaving La Ferte-Alais in France to return to Duxford.

Built in Canada in 1940 by the Canadian Car Foundry as a Hurricane Mk1. Shipped to the UK and converted to a Sea Hurricane Mk1B. Issued to 880 Squadron, in whose colours it displays at a Shuttleworth Trust Air Show.

The Stewart S-51D Mustang is an American homebuilt aerobatic model, designed by Jim Stewart. It was introduced in 1994 and available as kit. The aircraft is a 70% scale version of the P-51D Mustang.

The fuselage of Bill Francis' Spitfire on loan to the HAM and recently arrived at the time of the photo. Bill purchased the aeroplane from Pinewood Studios in 1968 with a view to restoration. It was used for cockpit shots in "Reach for the Sky" and for spares at Henlow for "Battle of Britain". Bill moved it to the garden of his bungalow in Hampton Gardens, Southend, later loaning it to the HAM after partial restoration. It moved with Bill to Southam in 1977. In 1982 it was sold to Stephen Gray, becoming G-CDAN. Subsequently restored to flight as ZK-XVI, VH-XVI. Current in 2022 marked as TB863.
