A revolutionary aircraft type that promised much but did not deliver... This Starship was registered N82428 to Beech on 8 October 1992. It remained owned by Beech in various guises until 2000 when it was re-registered N786BP to 86 BP Inc. In 2003 Beech began buying back all the Starships to reduce the support burden, and this aircraft was purchased from disposal agents Evergreen in 2004 by Pay's Air Service in Australia for its engines. Ferried from Scone to Caloundra on 24 November 2004, where the engines were removed and the airframe became a training aid. Acquired by QAM in January 2015.

In 2005 the RTAF started DAE-2 aircraft project, based on the SIAI SF-260 trainer. In 2007 was upgraded to RTAF-6 by replacing the original piston engine with a turboprop one and upgrading avionics to semi-glass cockpit.

The Indian Naval Maritime Museum depicts the history of the Indian navy in Kochi (Cochin), Kerala state. One of the exhibits inside the grounds of the museum is this former Indian Navy Seaking. IN502 was one of the first six Westland Sea Kings purchased for the Indian Navy from Britain for ASW-duties in 1969.

Used as an instructional/display airframe from 1955 (allocated maintenance serial 7207M) , initially at Wymeswold and at Syerston from 1957 to 1967 when it moved to Henlow for storage. Used for non flying scenes in the Battle of Britain film in 1968 and remained at Henlow until 1972 when exported to Australia. Went through various owners whilst in Australia before being restored to fly as VH-XVI in October 1988. Sold in the US in 1998 and has remained stored and unflown at San Martin CA. for many years.

Preserved at the Yankee Air Museum there by 1987.

The mighty Tupolev Tu-142MK-E has been replaced by the Boeing P-8I Neptune in service with the Indian Navy. Luckily, most of them have found new homes, on several places along the coast the type has been put on display. Karwar Beach, Karnataka state is just south of Goa, and has IN316. The c/n listed is as found on the aircraft, it is often quoted as being 8609846.

The superb Indian Naval Aviation Museum in Dabolim, Goa, has a very interesting collection of aircraft. One of these is this somewhat crudely restored HAL Chetak, a license built Aloutte III, with serial IN475, but missing its engine. The type is still in use by the Indian Navy in 2025.

This historic aircraft is 100 years old in 2025. It was the first D.H.60 Moth to be exported from the UK, and the first of many to be imported into Australia. It was registered to the Civil Aviation Branch of the Department of Defence as G-AUAE on 5 November 1925, the first of at least 36 Moths loaned to the Aero Club movement to support pilot and engineer training. Re-registered VH-UAE in 1929 and impressed into the RAAF as A7-88 during the Second World War. This un-airworthy fuselage was left over from a 1980s rebuild and is preserved as a non-flying relic.
