Originally intended for the RAF as VV214 but diverted to the RNoAF were it was taken on charge 22 July 1948. Initially given the Norwegian serial P42459 it was later given the aircraft code B-AH where B indicated Vampire and AH the individual aircraft. When squadron codes were reintroduced 1 January 1951, it was given the code PX-H as it served with 336 Skv at the time. Retired 16 February 1954 and donated to the museum. Note the photo in the background of B-AH in flight over the Norwegian mountains. Note also the Rolls-Royce Merlin engine taken from a RNoAF Spitfire.

This Wirraway was the 8th off the production line in 1939 and is the oldest surviving example of the type. Remarkably, it served with the RAAF until 1960 when it was sold back to the Commonwealth Aircraft Corporation as a source of spares for the Ceres program. However, it was not used and was sold in 1963 to John Hopton, one of the original members of the Australian Aircraft Restoration Group that operated the Moorabbin Air Museum. The aircraft was restored to original 'as delivered' ground-running condition in 2015-16.

This aircraft entered service as a Dove Mk 1 in 1948 as CS-TAC with Aereos-SATA in Portugal. It was fitted with improved engines in 1972, becoming a Mk 5. Later that year it returned to Britain becoming G-BAHB. Two years later it was exported to Australia, becoming VH-CLD on 15 March 1974. It operated with Bassair until grounded with severe corrosion in 1977. The cockpit only is currently part of the Moorabbin Air Museum collection.

On July 18, 1935, Thor Solberg and Paul C. Oscanyan left Floyd-Bennett Field for Norway with NR10239 passing through Labrador, Greenland, Iceland, the Faroe Islands, and arriving in Bergen, Norway 16 August. Registered LN-BAH 18 July 1936 to Thor Solberg, stored and cancelled from the register 12 June 1937.
